Our understanding of Science is the result of human curiosity about how the universe works. We aim to bring this sense of curiosity to pupils and encourage them to explore their questions with us. Science allows us to develop Scientific Models and Hypotheses that can be tested and forged into theories that help explain the world around us and perhaps most importantly, predict how it will work. Pupils can experience this in the classroom setting and uncover the limitations of ideas and some theories for themselves. Scientists collaborate to uncover new information and as this is discovere,d some Scientific ideas change and our models can be improved.
Key Stage 3 Curriculum Intent
