Testwood School Pre-Loved Uniform Scheme

As part of our commitment to sustainability and cost-effectiveness, we are launching this scheme to encourage the reuse and recycling of school uniforms. We understand that children grow quickly, and their uniforms often remain in great condition despite being outgrown. Hence, we’re providing an opportunity for these pre-loved uniforms to find new homes and extend their usefulness.

Here’s how the Testwood School Pre-loved School Uniform Scheme will work:

Uniform donations: We encourage families to donate gently used, clean, and well-maintained school uniforms that their children have outgrown. Uniform donations can be dropped off at Reception between 8am and 3.30pm on either Monday or Friday. Please ensure that the donated items are in good condition to benefit other families.

Distribution: Donated uniforms will be inspected, laundered, and made available for other families to acquire.

Benefits: By participating in this initiative, families can not only contribute to a more sustainable environment but also save money on uniform expenses. Additionally, this program encourages a sense of community and belonging among our Testwood School families.

 

How to Acquire Pre-Loved Uniform

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to obtain pre-loved uniforms through our scheme:

1. Contact Reception: If you are seeking an item from our stock, please confirm the item and size required and email uniform@testwoodschool.co.uk or call 02380 862146
2. Make an appointment to Visit the Reception 3pm -3:30pm Monday to Thursday
3. Browse and Select
4. Select and Pay: If you would like to make a financial donation for the item of uniform, payment can be made in cash. The money raised will go towards further outdoor seating for our students.
5. Enjoy Sustainable Savings: Take pride in your contribution to sustainability by reusing these uniforms. Not only are you helping the environment by reducing textile waste, but you’re also benefiting from affordable school attire.

Please note that the availability of specific sizes or items cannot be guaranteed, as it depends on donations from our school community. However, we constantly strive to ensure a varied selection for your convenience.
