At Testwood we want all of our students to achieve their full potential. We therefore plan the curriculum to meet the needs of students of all abilities.
To support students who experience difficulties with their work, we follow the Special Educational Needs Code of Practice to identify and assess to ensure that their needs are fully met. Once identified, a student’s needs are then regularly reviewed and supported as required.
Other interventions includes in-class support by a qualified Learning Support Assistant, key workers, 1:1 and small group literacy and numeracy lessons led by LSA specialists, Social skills, Lego Therapy, ELSA and reading clinics.
