We are delighted to be seeking an enthusiastic and forward thinking Teacher of Languages, to join us in either January or Easter 2024 and contribute to the ongoing developments of the MFL provision at school. You need to be able to teach French in KS3 and KS4 and the ability to offer a second language to KS4 may be advantageous.
You will join a small but enthusiastic team of dedicated teachers in our journey to really put Languages on the map and become a valued member of our team. You will enjoy teaching an interesting and motivating curriculum, with shared centralised resources and a collegiate working environment, where we thrive on collaboration and mutual support.

Testwood School is a secondary school in Totton with an OFSTED rating of good. We are looking for the next generation of teachers to come and be part of our school community. We currently work in partnership with a range of initial teacher training (ITT) providers including: the Wildern SCITT and the University of Southampton and are looking to train teachers across subject areas. We would be particularly interested in hearing from individuals with a desire to train in technology-based subjects as well as Maths and English.
We understand that those keen to get into teaching come from a variety of academic and workplace backgrounds with different levels of experience. The main thing we ask is that you are passionate about the subject you wish to teach and, also about giving the young people you teach the best opportunities to progress.

Candidates should hold a degree from a UK higher education provider, or a recognised equivalent qualification. You will also need to have a grade C (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
