For the main admission round, which is when you want your child to start with us at the start of year 7, all admissions are managed by Hampshire County Council. You can find their guidance about how to do this here. Further information about admission to Testwood School can be found in the policy document for the relevant intake year.
The closing date for main round admissions is 31st October. All on-time applicants are sent notification of the outcome of their application on 1st March.
Parents who do not make an application for their child to start secondary school by the deadline of 31st October will need to submit a LATE application. A paper application form can also be requested from the County Admissions Team.
Non-Hampshire residents must contact their home local authority for an application, even if they wish to apply to a Hampshire school.
In-Year Admissions
Parents who are seeking to transfer children who are already in years 7-11 at another school please complete Hampshire County Council’s online application form www.hants.gov.uk/admissions or alternatively complete the Testwood School application form in accordance with the guidance notes at the end of the application.
Waiting List
Waiting lists are operated by the school. Any places that become available will be allocated according to the criteria of the School Admission Policy.
