Careers Guidance / Labour Market

At Testwood School we aim to support pupils and parents/carers by providing timely advice and guidance throughout Years 7-11. This support, advice and opportunities are made possible by our strong relationships with local Colleges, Employers, Training providers and Universities.

Every student has the opportunity for an impartial guidance interview, to explore the range of education or training options – including apprenticeships and other vocational pathways – available whenever significant study or career choices are being made.

Testwood School has a qualified and impartial Careers Advisor through (EBP South) to provide support in making individual future career and study plans. This is specifically aimed at Year 10 from the summer term through Year 11. Early-intervention careers interviews are used from Year 8 onwards.
